Dr. Tricia Rampersad earned her B.A. in Communications & Journalism at Fairleigh Dickinson University, M.A. in Counseling Psychology at New Jersey City University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology PsyD, with a Specialization in Sports Psychology in Berkeley & CSU.
Dr. Rampersad has over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with depression, OCD, and anxiety disorders. She worked in educational settings, hospitals, medical centers, non-profits, and medical clinics as a therapist in New York, New Jersey, and California. Dr. Rampersad specializes in depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorder, relationship/intimacy issues, and OCD. Her treatment modalities include a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Sports Psychology, and Coaching. Dr. Rampersad is an inclusive therapist and believes in diversity, equity, and multiculturalism.
Dr. Rampersad has been trained through the Berkeley Cognitive Behavioral Clinic, Alameda Health Systems, NYC Non-Profit organizations, and Jersey City Medical Center. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Certified School Counselor. Dr. Rampersad has presented on Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mindfulness, Sports Psychology, Spirituality, and ACT both locally and nationally.
Dr. Rampersad's motivation stems from the superior outcomes of specialized treatment for debilitating anxiety, racial trauma, and depression.
